Description

The Bolton School boys set off on their cross country race. We see them crossing a stream before returning to the school gates. Another cross country race this time with numbered runners begins followed by race scenes and the finish line where the runners are cheered by crowds of school boys. Inter-house sports day scenes at Bolton School with hurdles, long jump, high jump and running races. The boys and teachers hiking in Exmoor, crossing a wooden bridge and stopping roadside for food and drink. The film ends with the boys getting off a lorry with their rucksacks.
