Description

Parkinson family trip to America and Canada. Scenes show New York skyline from ship approaching the harbour, unidentiified newly wedded couple (friends of the family) and their wedding party along from church and a couple (possibly Cyril Parkinson and wife) sitting on the side of a car and rowing a boat on a lake. Includes shots of Montmorency Falls and people waving farewell to a cruise ship (seen from deck) as it leaves Montreal down the St Lawrence River. Continues with shots of icebergs in the gulf, the Parkinson's and friends posing for the camera on deck, and the ship arriving at Liverpool docks. Concludes with adults and children having afternoon tea at the family home in Lancashire.
