Description |
This is the third part of a Gretney Walk Tenants' Association meeting in Hulme, Manchester, where the tenants recount the history of the cockroach infestation which started in 1980. Mary (a tenant) talks about how, slowly but surely, action is taking place and that the Housing Office is heeding what the tenants ask for. They talk about the planned Conference involving each of the agencies. Harry Sherwood (a tenant) talks about various proposals that could be made at the Conference, including issues about security, how police could patrol the decks and adequate lighting. They also talk about the necessity to survey tenants to find out their opinions. |
