Description

Scenes from various events at Manchester Grammar School to raise money for charity. The film opens with scenes from a 'bazaar' in the main hall. The students mill about and chat around trestle tables which are mostly empty, though some boys play card tricks at one of the tables. We then see some of the boys abseiling down the side of the building while the other students cheer them on and heckle them. At the final event students with long hair have their heads shaved while the other students have fun heckling them, but also cheer them on. We see a teacher collecting money in a bucket.
