Description

Film of the demolition of Courtaulds chimneys at Red Scar. The demolition site is seen prior to the blast as are a crowd, gathered behind a rope. Stewards, police and camera crews are in evidence. The demoltion is seen from several angles, the crowd applaud. One of the camera crews is seen filming an interview with an old man who had been involved in building the chimneys - he is later seen searching through the rubble for souvenirs. The film closes with shots of the rubble strrewn blast site.
