Description |
Film about Simmonswood School in 1969, when a fire badly damaged the school's buildings. There are shots of Kirkby town, and a gym class in the school hall, There is then footage of the fire-damaged school. There are scenes of a 'challenge cup' (a football match watched by cheering parents) and then view of the damage caused from a second fire. There are scenes shot with former pupils in other schools, and footage of a visit to Blackpool. |
