Description

Various scenes of the Stockport Carnival parade in 1929. The procession of decorated vehicles and fancy dress competitors make their way through the streets to the carnival show ground. Mr Joshua Preston, Mayor of Stockport, delivers a speech and the Mayoress, Miss M. G. Preston crowns the carnival queen.
