Unedited footage of Higher Mill in Helmshore, shot in July 1972, for inclusion in a BBC 'Chronicle' programme, shown as part of the 'Industrial Grand Tour of Great Britain' series. Includes shots of Helmshore Brass Band playing in a room led by their conductor. Also features various views around Helmshore village and interior shots of Higher Mill, with close ups of the water wheel and fulling miller.
