Description |
A record of the visit of the Queen to the Duke of Lancaster’s Own Yeomany – at this time a home defence reconnaissance unit – at their annual camp in Altcar. The Queen tours the camp, meets military personnel, and watches demonstrations of the unit’s work, which utilises weaponry and land rovers. After an official photograph is taken, the Queen takes the salute as the vehicles drive past, before she takes her leave and departs. |
