Description |
The film begins with detailed shots of the workings of a large x-ray applicator at St Bartholomew's Hospital in London, including the negative and positive generators, and the electro-hydraulically operated vacuum tap. The machine is them demonstrated in action with a patient lying underneath it ready for treatment. The bed is adjusted to ensure that the patient is in focus. After he is locked inside the x-ray room, the x-rays are taken by the nurse in the control room. |
