Description

Footage of the Brickhills at the elder Brickhills' home: Bewdley, Alderley Edge and on holiday in Prestatyn, 1940. The film begins with brief scenes of the the Brickhills (Mr and Mrs, young David and grandparents) in the garden; we see a kitten and a croquet game played on the lawn. Then we see the family on holiday at the beach; the children climb the sand dunes then David pushes a train stroller in the garden. There are also shots of kitchen interiors and David riding a tricycle in the garden. The film ends with the Brickhills sat in front of some beach huts, enjoying pony rides on the beach and David running around the garden.
