Description |
Peter Sykes is seen putting up the Christmas decorations, as well as stockings for his son Geoff. Geoff Sykes plays with his presents in the sitting room on Christmas Day. Geoff and his father go to St Anne's on the Sea War Memorial Hospital to collect his mother Florence and baby sister Judith - whose Christening is also seen. Geoff learns to ride a tricycle and sail a model boat with his father, and there are scenes from a church fete, including a film show and an early version of a jukebox. Geoff is seen playing in the garden with some other children and his sister. A lorry is loaded with crates, probably connected to the family's engineering business, and the film ends with a family trip to the seaside. |
