Description

Record of Sam and Edith Hanna's holiday, with friends, in Switzerland. Shots of simple, everyday life - cows being herded along a country road, schoolchildren going on a trip, women washing clothes in the street - feature alongside the landmarks, towns and scenery of the region. The group are shown visiting churches, souvenir shops and cafes and watch the traditional carving of spoons in a craft shop. They ride the mountain railway at Lauterbrunnen before the film ends with shots of Lucerne.
