Description

Records the passing on of scrolls (believed to represent the Girl Guides World Conference Message of Goodwill Oxford 1950 to Luxembourg) by girl guides in Lancashire. On a country road, a scroll is passed by a guide group to two guides on horseback who ride off past a bus on its way to Burnley. The film cuts to two horse-drawn carts taking girl guides through the cobbled streets of a town (possibly Burnley). They present a scroll to a guide leader who unfurls the message for others to see. The film ends with shots of girls dressed as witches who approach the second cart and are given a scroll.
