Description |
Film of the Duchess of Kent's visit to Skelmersdale. The Duchess is seen touring a housing estate on foot. Continues with shots of an industrial estate, staff at Hartwood Hosiery are seen gathered outside their factory. The Duchess of Kent is seen touring the factory along with various civic dignitaries. The various processes in hosiery manufacture are seen. A member of staff presents the Duchess with some stockings in a presentation box. |
