Description |
Scenes from the 1983 Bollington Carnival. We see a carnival procession. There are floats, and amongst them we see floats for the Bollington Carnival Queen and other regional carnival queens and princesses. There is a brass band, dancing troupes and people in fancy dress. There are views of the spectators standing along the pavements and in the doorways of their homes. We then see scenes from the carnival field. People wander round the field, and there is an ice cream van and a bouncy castle. There are displays from the dance troupes and a ceremony with civic dignitaries. |
