Description

Film looking at the development of railways from Greek wagonways to steam trains and the opening of the world's first passenger railway from Manchester to Liverpool. Examines the spread and eventual decline of the railways across the British Isles, as well as looking at examples of steam trains still in use such as the Ffestiniog Mountain Railway and the Bluebell Line.
