Description |
Manchester Wheelers Club time-trial road cycle race with marshalls directing the riders and handing them refreshments. The race passes Croxton Lane and is headed towards Middlewich. Shots of club members outside a building with their bikes and also in the beer garden of a pub. Includes some speeded up footage of some of the riders and a marshall timing racers outside the Grove Inn. There is footage of a 70th birthday party in a hotel, a teamaker is presented as a gift. The final section of the film involves another cycle race with the racers coming up the hill to the finish line. |
