Local newsreel featuring - Carnival revelers at Stockport; South Lancashire Transport Company's second extension to the trackless trolley buses - Atherton to Swinton service. River Mersey overflows at Cheadle and some ducks take an unusual swim at Glengarry. Also includes shots of Edgeley Main road, Alexandra Cinema and Blackpool illuminations.
