Description |
The Manchester Diocesan Lads Brigade are seen leaving Manchester by coach, waving. Then follows scenes at camp: marching; an outdoor church service or ceremony with organ accompaniment. They are then seen at the beach: a brigade officer digs in the sand with a woman and three little girls; the boys relax and drink pop. Back at camp an inspection takes place, there is a game of cricket (some in slow motion) and scenes of diving (also played backwards for an amusing effect). The brigade is then seen marching through a park and an inspection takes place, lots of close ups of various people, and the boys are reunited with (or visited by) their families. Location is possibly Fylde coast. |
