Description |
A procession of children, including scouts, guides and brownies, makes its way through the local streets before arriving at Kingsfold Methodist Church, Preston. A groundbreaking ceremony takes place next to the church to mark the start of work on a new Youth Hall building. There are scenes at the official opening of the new building on 30th September 1978, including the arrival of a procession and a service in the church. Concludes with footage of hill walking and a visit to the Blackpool and Fylde Gliding Club. |
