Description

Delegates are seen arriving at a meeting to arrange the road safety demonstration and there is footage from the event itself, staged at Avenham Park in Preston. Local children entertain the crowds and a number of different causes of accidents are demonstrated, including stepping out from behind a vehicle, turning on a bicycle without signalling and overtaking at the wrong time. Advice is also given on what to do if you discover unexploded bombs or weapons - do not touch them.
