Scenes from the Manchester Grammar School trekking holiday to the Dolomites. We see the boys at the railway station in Dobbiaco, and then we see them pitching their tents at Landro in the Dolomites. We see the boys at various camps along the way, they play games, make camp fires, prepare, cook and distribute food. We also see them getting treatment for their blisters. We see them trekking in the mountains, and swimming and washing in a river. There are lots of views of stunning mountain scenery and close up shots of flowers. We see signs giving the names of some of the places that they visit, including Lago Di Misurina, Cortina and Mazzin. The film concludes with scenes of a visit to a local town with a busy market. |
