Description |
As part of the Baytrees Bee Project in Harpurhey in Manchester, this short film shows bee keeper Kay Phillips opening the hives on 17 June 2017, and talking to Emma, a Bangor University student researching the differences between urban and wild bees. She collects samples of bees from each of the hives and discusses the use of Verroa mite boards at the base of the hives. |
