Description |
Baby Susan enjoys her first Christmas playing with her toys in front of the fireplace. In 1953, Hindley Green Coronation celebrations take place with a procession through the streets. The procession features bands, children and adults in fancy dress, the Procession Queen and children representing their churches. Later, we see the crowning of the Procession Queen. In 1977, during the celebration for the Queen's Silver Jubilee, crowds gather on the streets of Hindley to catch a glimpse of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip as they are driven through in the state car. |
