Description

Weston Point Docks - a china clay boat enters Weston Point; the china clay is unloaded using a mechanical grab; Spelter (zinc) for the Midlands is loaded onto narrow boats; the Sutton Weaver Bridge - swing road bridge in operation; through Dutton and Saltersford locks; the Anderton Canal Lift - machinery in operation and boat in lift; salt for Liverpool is loaded in bags onto barges.
