Description |
Scenes in a maternity ward and a newborn baby meets the rest of his family at home before being bathed. New mother Ruby Hanna holds her baby son Ian, as does grandmother Edith who places him in a cot at the foot of the bed. Mothers sit up in their hospital beds as a nurse makes them cups of tea and the matron visits. At home, the baby is held by members of the family before Edith Hanna bathes him next to the fireplace. |
