Description |
Promotional film which looks at the manufacture and operation of a ring spinning frame at Scragg Yarn Developments Ltd of Macclesfield. Opens with views of steel workers feeding a blast furnace, followed by frame components being machined in a lathe and thread being tested in a laboratory. The completed frame is then seen being operated, including close ups of various working parts and scenes of a woman lacing up the machine and changing bobbins. |
