Description |
Shots include tree felling, road works, the countryside, local roads and amenities in Clitheroe from the perspective of a moving car. The film focuses on local changes, with assistance from a character with a telescope. Traffic is busy and workers construct the Whalley-Clitheroe bypass. A farmer works and watches the construction's progress. Visitors explore Whalley Abbey and its grounds. There are shots of local cottages, a cemetery, and the River Ribble. Inside a house, amateur film makers record musicians as they sing and play guitars. The character enters and assists film makers, who work to sort, prepare and show the film and sound recordings. |
