Description

In Blackpool, two women can be seen leaving the Seymour hotel. They then visit the boating lake followed by Blackpool Tower. Views of Blackpool filmed from the tower, shots of the promenade, beach and the Winter Gardens. Next the group visit Stanley Park and walk around the gardens and spend time on the boating lake. A title card reads 'Whit-Monday 1947' - the group travel through Wales visiting Betws-y-Coed, Llanberis Pass and Beaumaris. They stop for tea at the Gadlys in Cemaes Bay. In August 1947, they visit Porth Wen beach where they go swimming. They then have a picnic on the beach.
