Description |
A benefit concert at Manchester University Students' Union for El Salvador, organised by Radio Farabundo Marti, the clandestine El Salvadorian radio station. In this second part, Los Awatinas a Bolivian band living in France are performing. Michael Vaughan interprets for the Spanish speaking musicians and explains the meaning of the songs. The first set of songs are popular Bolivian songs followed by traditional music of the Aymara people. |
