The Prince of Wales (Prince Charles) re-opens the Queen Street Mill in Burnley as a museum on 23rd April 1986 and meets local film-maker Sam Hanna. After a shot of Mr Hanna's official invitation to attend, the mayor, mayoress, and other invited guests are seen inside the mill in advance of the Prince's visit. The Prince is guided round the inside of the mill, meeting builders and talking to Sam Hanna and his wife. Cameramen take photographs as the Prince unveils a plaque and signs a commemorative book before leaving.
