Description |
A variety of scenes starting with garden scenes in Blackpool. A large group of people are seen in the garden with a dog. They have fun messing around for the camera and posing for a group shot. We then see scenes from Fleetwood of ferries leaving for the Isle of Man, the ferries we see are 'Mona's Queen' and the 'Lady of Mann'. We then see shots of Blackpool seafront on what the filmmaker describes as 'a rough day'. There follow scenes from the opening day of S.S. Bowling Club. There is a group shot of the club members and we see the president's speech, as well as 'the first wood'. Next we have scenes from Fairhaven Lake and a visit to Natland where people enjoy a picnic and paddling in a stream. There are scenes from a wedding. The guests throw confetti on the newlyweds before they get into the wedding car. Finally there are scenes from an air circus at Stanley Park where we see biplanes taking off and circling above. |
