Scenes showing the official opening of Bowlacre Home for Aged Men, including civic dignitaries giving speeches, presenting bouquets and prize giving. Continues with general views of the building, grounds and a group of musicians playing in the open air. Further footage shows Pole Bank Hall Garden Fete, with people sat listening to speeches, the Adamson Brass band playing and people at refreshment and flower stalls. Includes shots of a children's entertainer drawing cartoons, a troupe of young girls dancing (the Daisyfield Dancing Troupe?) and a female singer performing.
