Description

Views of the hills above the village of Greenfield near Saddleworth then snowy hillsides and cattle in a snowy field. A group of adults in historical costume dressed as Cavaliers, then a group of women chat and drink tea at Christmas. Digging out the snow drifts in Saddleworth then children sledging. A couple building a model of a country house possibly Chatswoth then sailing on Dovestone Reservoir and a naval cadets band marching past. Ballroom dancing is followed by a parade with marching bands, girl guides, cub scouts and Mayors. Views of a crowded theatre bar and kitchen followed by a local industry exhibition. On the first day of the festival we see chefs cooking burgers and a prizegiving for the cub scouts followed by a brass band marching through Saddleworth.
