Description

Assorted footage from the Sale District Festival in 2000 - events featured are the Regatta Day on the Bridgewater Canal, with views of the different barges taking part; "Our Town Story" - a dramatisation of the history of Sale performed by pupils of St Mary's CE Primary School; a showcase night highlighting the different groups and societies active in Sale, including the Sale Male Voice Choir and the Cheshire Wildlife Trust; and musical performances in the town centre by pupils of Christ the King School, Temple Moor Primary School and Firs Primary School.
