An interview conducted by Paul Okojie with Mr Molanda, Clerk of the Norfolk Police Authority since 1974. He speaks about his legal background and his function of servicing committees. He talks about membership of the Authority and it's tri-partite composition; the Home Office and the finances of the Authority; and the issue of resources and the frustration this can cause. How money is a significant limitation now. He talks about the Liaison Committee and how to address the poor attendance. Paul Okojie talks about the Government White Paper on streamlining the cities and what his reaction is to this proposal. |
