Description

Groups of men, soldiers, Cubs and Scouts are seen marching along crowd-lined streets in the centre of Bury. Crowds wait outside a cinema (the Picture House?). Troops are lined up for inspection and the Mayor and councillors arrive - flags (colours) are presented by the Mayor. Lord Derby arrives with King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. Their Majesties talk to the waiting crowds before receiving people on the platform. The King and Queen are seen leaving the Derby Hall.
