Description |
The film opens with family scenes. We see a little girl sat in a child's rocking chair in the yard of the house and there are brief family scenes in the countryside. There follow scenes from the King's visit to Nelson. We see large crowds of people in the town square which has been decorated with bunting. A temporary stage has been set up and the mayor and other civic dignitaries await the King's arrival. On arrival the King is lead to the stage where he greets the local civic dignatories. He then departs in the royal car, followed by his entourage. He drives through the cheering crowds lining the road. |
