Description |
The final game of 1967-68 season between Newcastle United and Manchester City at St. James' Park on 11 May 1968, with City winning 4-3 and being crowned the 1st Division champions. We see match action and all of the goals scored by Summerbee, Young (2) and Lee for City and Robson, Sinclair and McNamee for Newcastle. The film ends with the crowd of spectators including an estimated 20,000 City fans invading the pitch to celebrate with the players. |
