Description

A sequence showing how Carborundum is made in the lab: powder is fused by electricity. This is shown on a larger scale, in the factory manufacture; powder is put into a vat and fused by giant electrodes; the container is removed in section leaving a solid crystalline lump. This is broken down by workers then fed into a machine to be broken down further, and mixed with water. Various shots of the process again.
