Description

A woman on horseback leads the Rose Day parade followed by a marching brass band, a girls' dance troupe, floats and the Rose Queen in a horse drawn carriage. After the Rose Queen coronation ceremony, we have the fancy dress competition and children on decorated bicycles. A parade and prize giving for the decorated floats is followed by children dancing around the Maypole. The film ends with children eating and drinking in a marquee and shots of flower arrangements.
