Description |
On Easter Sunday 1948, members of Warrington and District Master Bakers Association can be seen sat on a coach ready to travel to Llangollen. They spend the day walking around the town and later stop for a picnic. On Easter Sunday 1948, the group travel to Llandudno. They travel by bus and stop off at The Singing Kettle in Lloc for a break. Once in Llandudno, they walk along the promenade and the beach. The film cuts to June 1949, some people play bowls on Lymm Hotel bowling green. Others have tea and refreshments outside on the hotel grounds. In 1951, the group visit Windermere where they look around the town and then take a boat trip out on the lake. In May 1951, they visit Llandudno again. They arrive at the hotel and walk around the grounds. The film cuts to Lymm Hotel in June 1951, a woman looks after a baby in a cot while others play bowls. In 1952, the group visit Betws-y-Coed where they stay at the Waterloo Hotel and visit Swallow Falls. In 1953, the group hold their annual party at the Grand Hotel in Llandudno. |
