Compilation of Gribbon family material - close-up shots of baby Olivia before and after her christening, together with footage of family and friends, including men in service uniform. Olivia is bathed by her mother. In the Lake District a group of men visit the memorial to John Ruskin and there are general views of the area in colour. Mrs Gribbon is seen with her baby outside Bispham Parish Church and the film ends with shots of a crowded Blackpool beach and seafront, with a few military vehicles driving past.
