Description |
A historical pageant set in the churchyard of St Bartholomew's Church in Colne, as part of the Festival of Britain celebrations in 1951. It features shots of choirboys singing, various re-enactments from history and the rector speaking from a lectern on the church steps. The film includes footage of crowds watching from the street where shops are decorated with bunting and flags. There are high angle shots of the scene before the film ends with footage of bellringers in a belfry. |
