Description |
Celebrations in Halewood to mark the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. Opens with a tug-of-war, races and playful fighting amongst children, also features a balloon race. Followed by footage of a procession, headed with a banner reading 'Long May She Reign' and containing floats, adults and children in fancy dress and decorated prams and tricycles. A procession queen and flags are also seen. Closes with crowds walking around after the procession has finished. |
