Description |
A comedy film produced by Warrington Cine Society. A man can be seen buying "Surecatch bait" before heading out on a fishing trip. Once at the riverbank, he uses regular bait but has no luck and falls asleep waiting for a catch. Meanwhile, a dishevelled looking man spots the sleeping man and steals his lunch. The sleeping man awakes and accidentally knocks the "surecatch bait" into the water. He then notices a young boy fishing nearby who keeps catching big fish while he continues to catch nothing. He manages to convince the young boy to sell the fish to him. The boy soon realises he has been given fake money and chases after him. The man drives off and later stops off at a pub where he gets talking to another man. The boy happens to walk past the pub and spots the man's car, he swaps the big fish for tiddlers. When the man arrives home and shows his wife what he has caught, she laughs and walks away. |
