Description

Comic story about a couple whose planned day out is thwarted by a broken down car and a passer-by's attempts to fix it. Over breakfast, a husband reluctantly agrees to take his wife out for the day. Whilst waiting for his wife to get ready he washes the car then attempts to start the engine without success. A passer-by offers to help, dons a white coat and mask, and performs an 'operation' on the car engine, removing most of its parts in the process before leaving to go fishing. The wife emerges from the house to discover the mess and, hours later, when the fisherman returns to find the job unfinished she hooks his fishing rod onto a passing car, leaving him to chase after it down the road.
