Description |
Drama production by the Stockport Amateur Cine Players Club. A dinner party is held to celebrate the engagement of man's daughter. During the meal, one of the guests remarks on the resemblance of the host to a painting of his Puritan ancestor. Once the guests leave, a burglar breaks into the house and assaults the host. Whilst unconscious, the man has a dream about his ancestor, in which he leaves a wounded Cavalier to die when he passes him on the road. His daughter goes back and looks after the Cavalier, who later saves the Puritan's life when the house is attacked by three drunken Roundheads. |
