Description |
Scenes of work and play on a farm (in Symington, near Ayr) featuring children, animals, workers and members of the Hanna Family. After a shot of farm buildings, we see cows being milked and shepherded down a track, and horses in the farmyard. Two young girls are given a ride on a cart horse. Children feed calves, hold lambs, and bring food to farm workers in the hay field. There are shots of haymaking, with the help of both horse-drawn machinery and a tractor, and children playing in the hay. There are shots of pigs and goats before the film ends with a group of children playing in a water tank in the farmyard. |
